About me

Hi!

I have experience working with people in crisis, both sudden crises that appear unexpectedly and disrupt daily life, and those that develop gradually, eventually demanding change. I have supported individuals facing breakups, violence, addiction, sudden life changes, or profound feelings of loneliness. I understand that each of these moments carries significant emotional weight, but also… potential.

I am inspired by Kazimierz Dąbrowski’s Theory of Positive Disintegration, which views crisis not as failure but as a stage of personal growth. Dąbrowski wrote:
“Development cannot consist in constantly maintaining the status quo; it cannot be stabilization, homeostasis, or adaptation to an average reality. On the contrary – it must involve transcending this reality, moving from lower levels toward higher ones.”

In my work, I approach crisis in this way, seeing it as a moment that, while difficult and painful, can become the beginning of deeper self-understanding. I create a safe space where it is possible to face what hurts while also discovering sparks of hope and meaning.

I integrate knowledge from intercultural psychology and work with gender identity with approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. I also draw on third-wave cognitive behavioral therapies, including mindfulness and the use of metaphors to help express what is difficult to put into words.

I have experience working with individuals with ADHD, conducting assessments using the DIVA-5 and supporting clients with the daily challenges associated with this diagnosis.

My work in crisis intervention has taught me to see people in their full complexity, both in moments when they feel the ground slipping away and when they begin taking their first steps toward something new.

I am also a certified hypnotherapist, working with the subconscious using techniques inspired by Milton Erickson. Hypnotherapy allows me to help clients access inner resources, overcome limiting patterns, and create lasting positive change.

I offer both online consultations in Polish, English, and Spanish, as well as in-person sessions in Gdańsk, providing flexible support for clients wherever they are.

I completed my integrated Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Gdańsk. During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in three international student exchange programs – at the University of Granada, the University of Cádiz, and Üsküdar University in Istanbul.

These experiences were not only a source of academic knowledge but also a deeply meaningful personal journey. They allowed me to gain experience in intercultural environments, better understand migration-related challenges, and view the adaptation process from the perspective of someone who has gone through it personally.

Exposure to diverse cultures has helped me develop openness, flexibility, and sensitivity to different ways of perceiving the world. Thanks to this, I am able to support my clients in exploring their identity and finding a sense of belonging – wherever they are and wherever they come from.
